Blogger Recognition Award 8.25.18

Dear Lord, I am long overdue for thanking You
for Your thoughtfulness through a dear friend… a brother in Christ.
Stu of Something to Stu Over nominated me
for the Blogger Recognition Award back on September 25th, 2018.
img_2145Thank You for sending Your blessings through him.
Shower him with blessings, Lord!

Keep him strong in his ministry and his walk.

Thank you, Stu!
May you always know the embrace of our Lord and Savior!
God loves you!

The Rules:

  • Thank the Blogger who nominated you and provide a link to their blog.
  • Write a post to show your Award.
  • Give a brief story of how your blog started.
  • Give two pieces of advice to New Bloggers
  • Select 15 or more bloggers for this award.
  • Let each Nominee know you’ve Nominated them and leave a link to your post.

How Gail Loves God got started:
Originally it was a place to privately speak to my heavenly Father. Later the Lord led me to encourage a friend by taking their challenge, while at the same time He was encouraging me to trust Him in opening my settings to Public. The overwhelming responses to me pouring out my heart to my Lord and Savior allowed me to continue to glorify His name, and to tell as many as I could “God loves you!”

2 Pieces of Advice for New Bloggers:
1. Just be yourself! God made you to be who YOU are!
2. Write what you want to write, and however often you want! It’s your blog!

Nominees:
The Showers of Blessings
Run With It
A New Life
Therapy Bits
Sagittarian Seeker
Simply Chronically Ill
Teen Meet God
Becoming His Tapestry
Pure Glory
The Ascender’s Touch

Alethea’s Mind
My Way Home

Congratulations to the nominees! Please do not feel obligated to participate,
but if you do let me know so that I can read it!
And take as much time as you need!

For those of you who don’t do awards, don’t worry.
I’m just recognizing your blog!

God loves you each one!!

  2. Gail, first of all congratulations on your award. Secondly, thank you for nominating me and my blog (the Lord’s blog) for this award. All glory, praise and honor to God! Thirdly, I enjoyed reading what you wrote here, especially your advice to bloggers. I was glad to hear how your blog got started, too. I am thankful you opened it to the public and that you are here to encourage us all. God bless you! ❤ Sue

  3. Congratulations on the well-deserved award! I think that second piece of advice – ‘it’s your blog’ – seems so simple yet it’s so important because it’s easy to forget and get caught up in worries and uncertainty when it comes to posting and content. You’re quite the inspiration, Gail! Thank you also for the kind nomination 🙂

    1. Normally I just right click on the picture of one in the blog of whoever nominated me, and then choose save copy of image, then upload it to my media files to correlate with that blogger. But my mind must be playing tricks on me because I thought I saw Stu had used the same one, so I just reused the one I already knew I had from a previous blogger nomination. I’ll try to figure it out. I have not had a problem about it using thus far. I would not use one if I saw a message like that with it. Hope that helps.
