Restore the Overtaken
“Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault,
ye which are spiritual,
restore such an one in the spirit of meekness;
lest thou also be tempted.
– Galatians 6:1 KJV
“I love the Lord,
because He hath heard my voice
and my supplications.
Because He hath inclined His ear
therefore will I call upon Him
as long as I live.”
– Psalm 116:1-2 KJV
A Just Because Moment
Sometimes giving to HIM is sacrificing…
not because it’s required or even suggested…
but simply because you want to do it…
as if you were giving to a friend or relative…
a JUST BECAUSE moment!
My King’s Table
Why worry about the king’s meat
when my King has
prepared His table before me
in the presence of my enemies?
Happily Ever After
According to Pastor Morris, I have been married twice.
My 1st husband was the Law.
My 2nd husband is Jesus Christ.
Those of you who voice your concern
because I am blessed with singleness
will either be disturbed or comforted by this.
Let me help you all to be comforted.
I am still married to my 2nd husband
and will be till the day I die…
AND in eternity!
His love will NEVER DIE!! ❤
Jesus is the LOVE OF MY LIFE!! ❤
He is the LOVER OF MY SOUL!! ❤
“Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
that ye may be blameless and harmless,
the sons of God,
in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation,
among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
holding forth the word of life;
that I may rejoice in the day of Christ,
that I have not run in vain,
neither laboured in vain.”
– Philippians 2:14-16 AKJV
“I will greatly rejoice in the Lord,
my soul shall be joyful in my God;
for he hath clothed me
with the garments of salvation,
he hath covered me
with the robe of righteousness,
as a bridegroom decketh himself
and as a bride adorneth herself
with her jewels.”
– Isaiah 61:10 KJV
In the Grip of Sin
Sin… it is so complicated and suffocating.
Once you’ve stepped into it,
It’s hard not to sink from the weight of its heaviness.
The burden of guilt and shame
Can follow like a shadow in the night.
In a moment of sin, I walked myself into the dark.
I submerged myself in danger.
As I sank so fast and so deep, my soul cried out for help.
Too distracted to hear a call from within,
I held onto the hand of sin.
Together we kept me from escaping,
Pretending things were getting better,
And at times believing nothing was wrong.
In a moment of compassion
The Maker of my soul charged forth and spoke.
With His hand reaching to pull me out,
He rescued me from the bottomless pit.
Even as I fought to stay behind with my friend sin,
My God knew where my heart really was.

For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ
