1 Grateful Person Tag 11.2.19

Wow, Lord. A very powerful phrase… 1 Grateful Person! That You would include me by having Matt of Jesus Luvs All nominate this blog (Your blog) in creating his 1 Grateful Person Tag. I am humbled beyond words. Thank You!

Thank you, Matt, for your kind nomination! How creative and edifying at the same time. God is worthy of all His praise, and this is a great reminder of how God loves us even without being thanked May we be the one that thanks Him and leave a testimony that compels the other 9 to take a moment to thank Him.

Jesus expressed his dismay over the lack of gratitude by 9 lepers he healed in Luke 17:

“Now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee. As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance and called out in a loud voice, “Jesus, Master, have pity on us!”

“When he saw them, he said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed.”

“One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan”

“Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?” Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.”

Here are the rules:

The 1 Grateful Person Tag is based on Luke 19 and the account of Jesus with the 1 out ten lepers he healed who came back thank him. Let us aspire to be like the 1 who thanked Jesus and not the 9 who did not.

1- Share what you are grateful to Jesus for.

2-Share a passage from the bible about gratitude that means something to you.

3- Tag whoever you wish to.

4- Please share a link to my original post. 1 Grateful Person

5- Use any picture in your post that expresses gratitude.

6. Share the intro

“In every thing give thanks:
for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”

– 1 Thessalonians 5:18 46710044_973949219472790_699705319898480640_nSo often I struggle with doubting I am doing God’s Will in my life, and as the loving Father He always is, He brings me to this simple verse. Simple because it tells us the will of God if to give thanks in everything. No master’s degree required, no license, no fame or fortune. He just wants to be thanked… by all of us! He is worthy!

I am so thankful for WHO Jesus is…
and HOW He is! ❤
