The Revealer of Secrets, That’s definitely You. You have been so generous To share some with me too. Those visions in the night That disturb the mind, To awaken so startled. I hate that kind. It is a blessing to forget Whatever was so bad, But when it haunts you, It can drive you mad. Praise You, God, for counsel, For the Daniels You preserve. Thank You for their wisdom, And a heart to serve. Thank You for the many times When it’s just us. I love it when it’s me and You. I know I can trust. Thank You for the many dreams You have reconciled. Thank You for àll the secrets That helped me through my trials. I love the Stone that will be a Great Mountain. I love the Secret Revelation. He is my Rock, my Cornerstone, On which I build my foundation.
How marvelous are the many things of You.
Wonderful, Counselor, Almighty God.
How grateful I am to be under
Your protective Shepherd’s rod.
Your eye is on every one of Your sheep.
You see the one that goes astray.
You leave the ninety nine
To carry me out of my wayward way.
You hold, You embrace,
You cover me with Your hand.
Thank You, Holy Spirit,
For helping me to understand.
The blood of Jesus cleanses me.
His salvation is my story.
How worthy You are of honor
My ink pens Your glory.
Dear Lord! How Your love pours and pours… all over this blog (YOUR blog)… all over me… and all over those You use to bless me… and those You will allow me to bless in sharing! How do I begin to thank You for The Barnabas Award!
In the King James Version (KJV) of Your Holy Bible it means son of consolation, “And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus,”
– Acts 4:36 KJV
and in the New International Version (NIV) it means son of encouragement. “Joseph, a Levite from Cyprus, whom the apostles called Barnabas (which means “son of encouragement”)” – Acts 4:36 NIV
To be an encourager or a consoler for You… to bring someone cheer or comfort… with Your love… is a humbling privilege… an opportunity only You can give. Thank You for whispering my name to our dear Janet of My Father’s Symphony to nominate me for The Barnabas Award. . This sweet encourager has encouraged me! And through Your whispers to me will continue to comfort and cheer others. Praise Your Holy Name! The One True Comforter and The One True Encourager!
Thank You, Janet, for the kind nomination. Your blog, your precious family, and your strong love in the Lord is an encouragement to me. I love reading what God is doing for you! May the Lord continue to bless your blog and your family! Me and God love you! ❤“You have been chosen for this recognition because of the encouragement and inspiration you bring to your readers.“
The way this works:
Thank the person who nominated you, and share their blog.
Think of five bloggers that encourage and inspire you and nominate them.
List five things about yourself.
Lastly, ask your nominees five questions. Why five? Because is the number that signifies grace.
Nominees:
Just 5, Lord??? How do I narrow down literally hundreds of souls who encourage me and console me, and many others each day here on WordPress?? If 5 is the number of grace, then 5 x 5 will share so much more of Your grace! Yes, that is 25! I pray for those who will NOT see their names, that You would help them to know what a tremendous encouragement/consolation they are to me and so many others!
There are many more of you who need to know you are an encourager/consoler.
God loves you! He cherishes you!

– Revelation 4:8 KJV
Holy, Holy, Holy – hymn lyrics written by Reginald Heber,
Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty! Early in the morning our song shall rise to Thee; Holy, holy, holy, merciful and mighty! God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!
Holy, holy, holy! All the saints adore Thee, Casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea; Cherubim and seraphim falling down before Thee, Who was, and is, and evermore shall be.
Holy, holy, holy! Though the darkness hide Thee, Though the eye of sinful man Thy glory may not see; Only Thou art holy; there is none beside Thee, Perfect in pow’r, in love, and purity.
Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty! All Thy works shall praise Thy Name, in earth, and sky, and sea; Holy, holy, holy; merciful and mighty! God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!
Holy is Your name, dear Lord! How often You have salved my soul during challenging days and nights. Storms can be so fierce, but You are far mightier. Yet You tend to comfort and bring such a peace solely from being You! Thank you for allowing me to learn this song years ago, and allowing me to remember it during times of hardship, and in simply starting the day keeping You first. I love You! ❤

“Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily. But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.” – Matthew 1:18-20 KJV
I’m not sure what You have for me today, Lord, in these words. Nothing particular seems to come to mind. That doesn’t mean Your word is nothing. It just means when You have something for me to take from it, You’ll let me know. You have at least allowed me to be faithful and diligent in writing these verses down, and have allowed this quiet time with You! ❤
I love You, Father! ❤ I love You, Jesus! ❤ I love You, Holy Spirit! ❤
Day 13 of the Christmas 31 Day Scripture Writing Plan. (I won’t have notes for each day. I am doing whatever You allow, Lord. Whatever You give! It’s all about You!)
I will bless the Lord, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons. I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope. For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. – Psalm 16:7-11 KJV
These verses gave me empowerment last night, Lord
I was so on fire in my spirit when I heard them.
Despite being in a pit, You gave me Your anthem,
declaring it’s Not the pit of the enemy!
And even if it were… even THERE
You are with me.
I have nothing to fear. Not even disappointment from You
when I find myself surrounded by damning spirits!
Lord, I pray you would allow others
to feel that same empowerment… YOUR EMPOWERMENT…
no matter where they are!
Lord, thank You, for failed relationships!
I know You know what I mean and why I say that.
For as long as things have gone wrong,
You knew exactly where I was at.
From molestation as early as I can remember
(which happens to be three),
to things a child just shouldn’t know,
and neither should a teen.
From dating before I even “became a woman”
to “becoming a woman” with a man,
nothing has been hidden from You,
and by Your grace You’ve held my hand.
—–
So it makes sense that it would take so many failed relationships
to bring me peace in a relationship just with You,
a relationship that cares about my body and spirit,
willing to make my life brand new.
If any of those relationships had succeeded,
I would have never known the peace
in having 1 year of life without anything to do with touch.
The filth would have never ceased.
Being in a wrong relationship only allowed me
to focus on pleasing someone else instead of You,
or maybe enjoy someone saying what made me feel good,
instead of knowing what the Holy Spirit could do.
—–
While I do pray for each one of those souls,
I thank You earnestly for the failure each had.
Thank You for loving me enough to save me for Yourself,
for only wanting good for me, not any bad.
Thank You for allowing failure to be my rescue
of what would only get worse if allowed to last.
Thank You for the years that have brought peace
from the guilt and shame of that past.
Thank You for showing me purity from YOUR eyes,
as mine just could not see.
Thank You for sparing me of a miserable life,
and finding it special to spend a Holy one with me.

Christmas Countdown: What a gift Jesus gave us in the Holy Spirit! Because of Jesus’ death AND resurrection, I have the gift of being given peace, wisdom, guidance & faith when I need them (and feel like sometimes I don’t) from the Comforter who reassures me. I so appreciate His praying for me with moanings & groanings that cannot be uttered! I love you, Holy Spirit! Thanks for a peace that passes all understanding… inlcuding mine. ❤
Being able to Believe that God hears your prayer is a GIFT! Attempting a prayer, hoping for a prayer and… KNOWING God heard your prayer are totally different. Thank you, Jesus, for allowing me to BELIEVE… to KNOW you heard my prayer! ❤
Safe Travels are a blessed GIFT: safe and sound by the grace and protection of the Lord Jesus Christ. May safe travels be a rich part of your blessings everyone! God loves you

Lord, thank you for helping me get the poetry copy and pasted onto the new site gaillovesgodspoetry. That blog is just as much yours as this one, and anything in my life. I was hoping to get it done in time to do some Thankful blogs for Thanksgiving… and maybe longer. However you lead. I keep following. Thank you for all of the love and support from so many with their views, likes, comments, follows, and e-mails. Even though it is all about you, you are so loving to encourage me. Please don’t let me fail to thank you and praise you with my reluctance to celebrate the numbers on each of these things. You deserve ALL of your praise!
And there it is, Lord, Thankful post #1 for 2017. I am thankful for you helping me getting the courage to get gaillovesgodspoetry started, and for helping me finish the copy and paste to get caught up in time to do the Thankful posts started for this week.

“His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether LOVELY. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.” – Song of Solomon 5:16 KJV
How absolutely LOVELY You are, Dear Lord, My Jesus, LOVELY of LOVELIES! You have given me so many LOVELY BLESSINGS! Starting with my LOVELY Australian sisterAnita of Discovering Your Happiness! LOVELY Anita. LOVELY A. Miss LOVELY! She is always so thoughtful of others, taking such care and time to research and share. And she always makes sure to tell everyone,
“Wherever you are in the world, have a LOVELY day! ❤ “Now You have had her touch my heart by nominating me with the One LOVELY Blog Award, as well as allowing me to read her LOVELY answers in her acceptance post. As soon as I see the word, how could I not think of Miss LOVELY A and LOVELY Australia! How could I not think of the LOVLIEST of all that is LOVELY… YOU! ❤

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are LOVELY, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” – Philippians 4:8 KJV

My 7 Things About Myself are my current favorite songs.
1. As You know I have been struggling at times with my anxiety, sometimes my depression, and quite often the frustration of physical challenges. This song Even If by MercyMe has ministered to me day & night since You introduced me through a friend.
2. The first song ended with a reference to the hymn It Is Well With My Soul. Everyone should hear a hymn every once in a while… sung to the tune the Lord gave it… and with a choir/congregation. At least once… sing the whole song! This motivates my soul! It Is Well With My Soul by Sovereign Grace Music.
3. Ohhh. *Gasp, and silently waiting for a breath to return!* Dear Lord. How do I find words for what You allow this song to do for my soul? If You had not come! Where would I be? ❤ Love Came For Me by Northland Church. Thank You for coming for me! ❤
4. Joy! LOVELY Lord! This song absolutely lifts me, motivates me, and makes it feel impossible to quit smiling and clapping, tapping my feet. Joy, Lord! Unashamed Joy! Oh the joy of a choir/congregation! And this one! I Love the leading voice! You hear and feel the pure joy! Leaning On The Everlasting Arms by The Church of God.
5. How could I not hear the word LOVELY and not think of Here I Am to Worship by Worship? It sings the very words “You’re altogether LOVELY, altogether worthy, altogether wonderful to me.” ❤
6. Oh by the way, Lord. When it comes to Your precious Son Jesus Christ, did I mention that I Love Him? How I worship and adore Him? When I can’t see no way, He makes a way. And did I mention He’s been faithful to every promise He’s ever made me. I Love Him. That’s all I want to say. I praise you for Did I Mention by The Rochesters!
7. Lastly is my all time favorite video. I wish I could fly along with the camera… and You! I like to pretend I can. It’s such a beautiful collection of scenery… Your creative artwork comforts my soul! How Great is Our God by Chris Tomlin.
May each one of you LOVELY nominees be blessed in the Lord, as your LOVELY blog obviously is. Please do not feel obligated, nor rushed to participate. I just want others to know how LOVELY you and your blog are. ❤
May each one who reads this post be blessed in “speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. – Ephesians 5:19-20 KJV 🙂
Stop this choking me!
I belong to CHRIST!
I serve NO ONE ELSE.
HE was crucified!
For me HE gave HIS blood
to break my chains free.
HE gave me freedom
to live in spiritual liberty!
NO MORE laws! NO MORE demons!
NO MORE distractions!
God loves me as HIS creation,
NOT by my actions.
In love and honor,
I strive to give HIM fruit,
as I strive to live for HIM
in spirit and truth.
