Blogger Recognition Award 9.18.18

“For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name,
because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.”
– Mark 9:41 KJV

“Cast not away therefore your confidence,
which hath great recompence of reward.”
– Hebrews 10:35 KJV

“But without faith it is impossible to please him:
for he that cometh to God must believe that he is,
and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
– Hebrews 11:6 KJV

Dear Lord, You have sent my dear friend and sister in Christ… Jessy…  to bring me a cup of water in the midst of a dry land… a weary land… of a journey that is You and me. It may be personal, but You still use Your people to encourage me along the way…. to refresh my weary soul. Jessy (aka txjessy) of F.A.B. Faith and Books has nominated me for the Blogger Recognition Award.  You have used her to help me not cast away my confidence, which has a great reward that You tell me I need. I trust Your word in Mark 9:41 that she will not lose her reward for bringing that cup of water even in this award. I fully believe in Your promises of Hebrews 11:6 because You are a rewarder in just being who You are! ❤blogger-recognition-awardThank you, Jessy, for the nomination! I praise the Lord for your constant flow of encouragement. May the Lord continue to bless you and your blog! God loves you!

The Rules:
1. Thank the blogger who nominated you and provide a link to their blog.
2. Write a post to show your award.
3. Give a brief story of how your blog started.
4. Give two pieces of advice to new bloggers.
5. Select 15 or more other bloggers for this award.
6. Let each nominee know you’ve nominated them and leave a link to your post.

My Brief Story on How This Blog Began:
Lord, You gave me this blog originally as a private place to come talk to You… one on one… just between You and me. Then You led me to encourage a family friend who was going through a hard time by doing her challenge on WordPress, and You encouraged me to trust You by opening my settings to public. You have since then amazed me in what You choose to do with this blog (which is Yours), and the blog for the poetry You have allowed me to write through the years. Not all of the poetry is pleasant, but You assure me it is a part of YOUR testimony in my life. And so I leave it to You to do Your will with.

Two Pieces of Advice for New Bloggers:
1. Write what you want, when you want (or not), in your time. It’s your blog!
2. God loves you!

“Withhold not good from them to whom it is due,
when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.”
– Proverbs 3:27 KJV

    1. It’s quite possible I forgot to notify the nominees. I am still struggling with the falling asleep for no reason…. sleep writing and typing… and fumbling what I cannot seem to focus on very well… and forgetting it altogether. Even conversations that I was right in the middle of, and was the one to start it. 😦 Thank you for the encouragement. Our Father is so kind to send refreshment in sweet fellowship! God loves you, brother.

      1. I did the falling asleep yesterday. Laid down for an hour nap and ended up sleeping for 7 and then couldn’t go back to sleep til 4 this morning. I’ve been feeling real tired myself lately.

It’s not to late to notify them. I did the same thing this week.
        God loves you too sis!

  5. Do you know what, Gail, I was looking through my feedback and found a message from you that I never noticed, and it brought me here. This is just amazing. You are actually the first to ever nominate me for this award, and I’m grateful for your love. God bless you. Love you! Love you! Love you!

    1. Well somehow my responses to your comments below the post somehow pushed my first reply to the bottom of all posts that kept being added. So I tried to delete and add it back where it was to begin, but it would not work. Was very strange. However!!
I am so glad God whispered you in my ear! Your blog surely deserves recognition! Me and God love you too, friend!!
