“And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?” – Mark 10:17
Because I miss running… for exercise… for work… for the joy of it… daily… but more importantly I miss kneeling in reverence to my Lord and Savior at the altar. (Side note: I miss having a real altar to kneel at! Not steps! Praise the Lord for the last one I know of, should I ever be blessed to be able to kneel again… especially to linger with my Jesus as long as I want! ) ❤

51.Do actions really speak louder than words?
” What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, and one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?
For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.”
– James 2:14-26

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” – Matthew 6:33
53.If not, what could I change about my job to be happier and more satisfied?
“But godliness with contentment is great gain.” – 1 Timothy 6:6

“A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.” – Proverbs 22:1
55.Do I learn from the past or live in the past?
“Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.” – 1 Corinthians 9:24
“I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 3:14
56.When I die, what do I want to be remembered for?
“By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.” – Hebrews 11:5
“Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman hath done, be told for a memorial of her.” – Matthew 26:13
Wow…. I applaud your knowledge & use of scripture, this is impressive! 🙂

God is good to allow us to read the word of God to learn it for ourselves, which I do, but I prayerfully answered each one… either using one He brought to mind, or using BibleGateway to search for what He gave me. I was afraid it might be too much, but wanted to answer it for myself the way I honestly would “seek” or “desire” to answer realistically. I try to go to Him first for EVERYTHING. I don’t trust my wisdom. Thank you for your comment! God bless you!

I have to agree with Caz, very impressive. This is wonderful to read Gail. As far as your disclaimer at the beginning, I don’t know who would take offense to these wonderful answers that came straight from God :):)

God bless you for your encouragement, Margaret! The disclaimer was in thought of those who tell me they get tired of me talking about God all the time, especially when they are trying to talk to ME personally. I understand what they are saying to me, but they have no idea how hard it is to get to where God tells us is best to be… in Him in everything… and Him in us in everything. I WANT Him to be my everything… and everything about me Him! ❤

Sister, you talk about God, as much as you can, as often as you can. I feel, how can anyone speak to YOU personally and not be talking about God. He is standing right there with you, right? Kind of rude to leave Him out 😉 hahaha :):) If ALL of or conversations could be full of Him, oh my the miracles we would see, the healing, the blessings. ❤❤❤

That’s EXACTLY what I feel like I’m doing… insulting Him, stealing His credit, or absolutely ignoring Him. That breaks my heart to think I am breaking His! I saw a skit one time that made such an impact in my life. It would take so long to explain that I will put in a blog instead! ❤ God used you to remind me of it! Maybe someone else needs to hear it too. ❤ ❤

I constantly have to reread, but He knows we all do. That’s why He tells us to. Thank you for taking the time to read. In the next day or so, I will be writing down the bible on paper as my daily devotional. I saw others mention doing it, and I liked the challenge to make me pay attention. I will write at whatever pace He gives me each day
